For the most part, we're a regular "vanilla" couple going through the motions of middle-class life. We met on an online dating site a few years ago while living in different cities and maintained a long distance relationship for 10+ months before settling in the same Oklahoma town. While he has a child from a former marriage, we are expecting our first child together in the fall of 2012.

Stanley turned 40 in 2012, and works as a computer guy in the public sector. Overall he is mellow in every sense of the word ... slow to anger, completely calm, collected and in control of his emotions. He is neither an outright leader or a perpetual follower, preferring instead to assume whatever role is needed to keep the waters calm, and the ship sailing smoothly forward. While not submissive in any stretch, nobody in the "vanilla" world would ever suspect him of being a BDSM Master.

As a spry 33 year-old (she turns 34 in autumn 2012), Patty is a freelance writer, and world traveler with a natural flair for languages, fluent in five. To outside observers, she is the antithesis of "submissive" ... a bit aggressive, feisty, focused, doggedly determined, occasionally stubborn, and perfectly willing to rock the boat. While she's not necessarily unreasonable, if you tell her "no," you'd better be ready to justify it.
